I saw a gastroenterologist for my IBS-C a couple weeks ago, and he gave me Propranolol, a beta blocker. He prescribed it to try to take the edge off my stress and related anxiety. Is anyone else here taking Propranolol, or some other beta blocker? If so, how is it doing for you? I'm on 10mg per dose as needed, but am thinking about bumping it up to 10mg daily, so I'm curious to know what to expect. Thanks!
Propranolol is a antihypertensive, and is used off label for anxiety. Should work quite well without a lot of side effects, 10mg is a low dose. I have seen it used in health facilities. Char
