I just asked a similar question. Hope you get a reply. Do you have IBS-D or IBS-C? I have mainly the former (but sometimes the other) and it happens to me after a trip to the bathroom when I am suffering from IBS-D. If I then take an immodium it does settle down, but I am afraid to depend on it too much. Any suggestions?
