I'm an English man living in Thailand and over the past year have been experiencing, on and off, cronic abdominal pain. I went to see a GI liver doctor in Thailand and had an endoscopy and colonoscopy. A mild hiatal hernia was found, but that was it. Now I'm experiencing severe bloating and discomfort, about 2-3 hours after eating. I gave up smoking 8 months ago, so I have put on weight. I go to the gym 4-5 times a week and don't eat fatty foods, but it is not helping. Are these classic symptoms of IBS or could it be something else? Are there anymore tests I should have done? It's really effecting my state of well-being, emotionally and physically, so any help would be greatly appreciated.P.S Are there any specially made trousers for people who suffer from bloating? Boxers or Y-fronts?
