Hello folks How are you all doin? Many of you must have read my post regarding homoeopathy treatment and meds which I am taking for my IBS-C. I also posted the Yoga for IBS msg. yesterday.I just wanted to say too often in our quest for getting out of this dreadful painful and unbearable IBS mess, we try to search desperrately for prescription meds which time and again fail us for IBS. We often do not "think outside the BOX" so to speak. Expand our horizons.Homoeopathy is working fine for me. I have started Yoga since last 4 days. Will let you folks know. There are some folks (one person in particular! "Enlightenment is the ego's biggest disappointment".This is a cool quote and something we should all think when "exploring" other treatments for IBS.take care and keep those posts rolling in!regardsGaryHomoeopathy works!

oops one small error. There are some folks (one person in particular!
who ridicule any alternative form of treatments which do not "fit" conventional norms. To them I quote:"Enlightenment is the ego's biggest disappointment".

Gary,Have you tried Zelnorm? I recommend trying it and continuing with your YOGA, as yoga can help in many other areas.
ha ha gary got your drift i know who you mean
take no notice no one else does lol. i honestly think if yoga does it for you, then you continue it, it may work for some and not for others but i wont knock anything until i tried, good luck with it.

I agree with you Gary... Im currently doing natural treatment for my IBS which is working a charm...
Sometimes the best things to help us are natural remedies. I know in my case the Aloe Vera works wonders, and I know that has copped some flack in the past..

You know Gary, I read about the restless leg syndrome where you feel all sorts of sensations in the leg like IBS'ers feell in their viscera. Well after reading that , when I went to sleep, I found my mind auttomatically focused on my leg and I found all sorts of uncomfortable sensations in my leg. I was so afraid that I would feel all the sensations in the minutest detail. Then I decided to focus on breathing i.e on the nose and immediately I lost consxiousness of all the sensations. So that is yoga in action for you. I bet IBS'ers could focus on breathing exercises and lose visceral hypersensitivity.
