hi everyone- havent been around much as my ibs has been kinda calm thank God. have been dealing with good ol diverticulitis- no fun

... anyhow, since tue been having pain in left side and right side and this wierd burning tearing sensation around my belly button. 5 months ago had gallbladder surgery- lapro and they cut me in the belly button. after lunch today- had a burger with a raw onion- I had the mega burning and tearing pain. almost went to the ER- thank God I didnt cause two hours later, pain and burning are gone.... Ive had IBS since i was a teenager- now 42 yrs old- never had anything like this before. I have been on antibiotics for the past month- once for diveticutlitis then a week later more meds for sinsu infection. have a dr. appointment tomorrow and do see my gastro on tue but have any of you guys had anything like this????tired of pain- between ibs, sjogrens, fibromyalgia, diverticulitis Im a mess!!! COuld it be adhesions? I had a lap gallbladder surgery 2.5 months ago, but mine had complications (bile ducts damaged, bile peritonitis, 2nd surgery to clean bile and repair, ICU, no fun). 4 weeks after the 2nd surgery my digestion became a mess and I started having the worst IBS symptoms ever My doc says it's from adhesions. Adhesions can form with any abdominal surgery. I'm currently looking for a good gastro to look into this. Hope you feel better.DIana

saw dr. today- not having pain so much in naval as I am on the right side and i feel sick to my stomache- no fever. they took blood and ordered a CT scan which i cannot make apponjtment till monday-computer is down....if it is adhesions wouldnt there be constant naval pain and why would my right side hurt?i am still having b.m. cuase i take miralax and MOM so that is still working thank God...anyone had chronic appendicitis? kathleen, any ideas?lori
