Ever since I have gone down (suffered through withdrawal) from Paxil, I have had a ton of gas. Normally, I'd only get gas in my abdominal area, and it would exit south. But I've had a LOT of burping and gas in my stomach... I've just finished my last dose of Paxil and am on 40mg Prozac, but am still suffering from this. I also just started taking Accuflora to see if it helps with the lower GI tract symptoms. Now, with the burping I don't really experience any acid, bad taste, or nausea, so I'm at a loss. I haven't chewed gum in ages, but I do drink a lot of water. I don't eat super-fast, and I don't drink pop hardly at all, so I know that is not the cause. Any ideas?

My mother has had that for many years, maybe all her life. I've noticed I get it when I eat peanut butter. Is yours painful? Mine is, until the burp. First a little comes up, then more, then finally--ahhhhh.I'd much rather burp than....

No, it's not painful. I wonder if it's the dairy. It's not unbearable, just a uncomfortable and annoying. And yeah, I'll have to agree that it's much better than other things that could plague me.
