·Strange one for you......I had a 12 year history of diarrhoea that started suddenly during a course of antibiotics.Recently after many suggestions of IBS a Gastroenerologist finally diagnosed C. Diff.4 years ago, following another course of anti-biotics, I got a strange long lasting nasal infection/nose bleeds and visualisation of eye 'floaters' (vitreous opacities)Folowing diagnosis of C.Diff and treatment with 400mg of Flagyll for 7 days all symptoms subsided: Bowels normal, nose bleeds stopped, visualisation of floaters subsided.Steadily over several months the diarrhoea returned (although still much better than before) as did the intensity of the nasal congestion and the intensity of the floaters. My questions are:1/ Is it possible for the C.Diff bacteria to spread throughout your system over a twelve year period(assisted by regular top ups of antibiotics!) and infect your nasal pasages, with the C.Diff toxins aggrevating the nasal and eye symptoms?2/ Is it possible that the treatment of my condition was incomplete and a relapse has occured?Your thoughts would be appreciated.Bruce
