post:Hey JKool, I was just reading this, and it sounds like you're definitely seeing a causal relationship here. But I wanted to say this just in case... My IBS, like many others, waxes and wanes often for reasons unbeknownst to me. Sometimes when I try something new, I don't give it a fair chance, because I am having such a hard time, and I try it again later, and it really does help...I was just in a bad spell earlier.The calcium I take has no magnesium in it. There is a little in the multivitamin I take sometimes, Kmart's version of One-a-Day Essentials, and I've been afraid to take it lately because of that. I've also wondered, since so many of us D-types try to avoid Mg, could we be in danger of being too low on it? And what would be the consequences? Not D, I hope!
