I have the same question. If anyone could be of help, it would be appreciated. My mother was horrified when I told her I was taking five fiber pills a day and suggested that the pills were causing a 'blockage.' I just started an experiement yesterday of two pills (the recommended dose) a day. If I see a change, I'll let you know.

Yeah perhaps in bloaters.Especially some fibers suppl.Fruits is good fibers.Oat also.

It may depend on the person. I've given up on the supplements and changed my diet. I eat 100% fruit at lunch. My snack foods and breakfast are cereals based on oat bran or a bread I make with oat bran/bananas. My fiber intake is way above what's considered normal but it lets me go to the bathroom every 2-3 days.
