I've had symptoms of IBS for a long time and my weight has been lower but stable after a minor abdominal surgery in June.
I see something like a brown-ish liquid at the bottom of the toilet pan, under the stools. I don't know what it is and obviously I'm wondering if it isn't some diluted blood, but I might read too much into it (I'm a bit naturally anxious).
Five years ago, to workout what the IBS symptoms are, I had two sigmoidoscopies and one colonoscopy. Biopsies were normal but mild focal ileitis was spotted, but not overly concerning. A scan of the bowel came out fine too.

I'm not sure whether the photo below is normal - I never used to scrutinise my stools. Like I said above, I'm worried about that brown-ish liquid at the bottom of the toilet pan, under the stools. Your opinion would be welcome.
