My situation is not verysevere on a daily basis, except for the bouts of D after some meals. But I have had that for so long it is second nature. Over the last six months it seems the cramping has increased. I have identified a couple of things that difinitely bring on the abdominal pain - Apples, and corn to a lesser degree. Anybody experience similar problems.

Welcome Al! It might be a good idea for you to keep a food diary (sounds like you have already noticed what some of your triggers are). A food diary can reveal what foods are tolerable for YOU and which foods give you problems. Unfortunately IBS tends to be a highly individualized condition - meaning that what triggers me may not be a trigger for you.I believe someone on the board mentioned that there is a food diary on a new site - I think the URL is Good luck!!
