My fiancee's family has just started using this machine called CHI. It's supposed to oxegenate your blood and align your spine, while removing toxins from your system. It's a machine that wiggles your ankles back and forth (hard to explain) and you're supposed to drink lots of water before and after you use it, to get the toxins out of your system. My fiancee told me it gave him diarrhea but it was because CHI cleaned out the toxins in him. He said he felt better afterwards (other than the diarrhea) and wants me to try it. I'm a little sceptical and I definitely don't want diarrhea. I'm IBS-C so that could loosen me up but I still don't want diarrhea as a result!I don't know what to think because him and his family swear by this machine and I think it could be good for you but I'm skeptical and scared. Anyone else tried this? It's supposed to help with IBS.My fiancee is a little mad at me for not trying his "miracle machine" but I usually don't buy into cure-alls that claim to cure EVERYTHING, like this does.Thanx,Amy

Sounds like something that winds up in a garage sale the next year after you bought it. What's wrong with a plain old simple back rub?------------------Jim

I checked www.quackwatch.com and they have it on the list of questionable devices and it appears they are working on an article about it.K.------------------I have no financial, academic, or any other stake in any commercial product mentioned by me.My story and what worked for me in greatly easing my IBS: http://www.ibsgroup.org/ubb/Forum17/HTML/000015.html
