My doc found that my cholesterol is high, so put me on Mevacor about 3 wks. ago. My IBS-C, which was under fairly good control before, is getting much worse, no matter what I do. Anybody else ever had this happen? I know that statins work by suppressing enzymes in the liver, and the liver has alot to do with bm's. I appreciate any feedback...

I used Statins drug for 2 years before the side effect got so bad the Dr. took me off of them.It does makes sence what you said.Kim
