mdsd: I have looked almost everywhere in Toronto for citricul. I also checked on the net, and couldn't find a distributor that sold it anymore. So I gave up. I'd like to know as well!
Citrucel is made by SmithKline Beecham, Pittsburgh, Pa 15230. There is a phone # on the back of the package 1-800-245-1040 (weekdays). Hope this helps.
The active ingredient, methyl cellulose, is, I believe sold in England as Celevac. So you might find it under a different name to Citrucel. Here in Australia it is called Cellulone and comes in tablet form. It's great but hard to find.
They don't sell it in Canada (I've looked into it). I eventually had someone from the board send me some. Since then I've found this web-site. http://www.borderfree.com./bf/default.asp Basically it lets you shop at a US pharmacy and they'll deliver the product to Canada. I've never used it, but I have looked around and you can order Citrucel. http://www.borderfree.com./bf/default.asp
