Hi I know I'm raining on everyone's parade but I wouldn't take a pill sent from someone I don't know. Remember what people were doing to over the counter drugs. Their are some very sick people out there. Please be very careful. I don't even trust people that post some cure because its unproven and could end up doing more harm than good. ·Coffee, and products containing caffeine, are certainly ONE trigger affecting control of MY IBS. It does not necessarily have to be a problem with EVERYONE'S IBS. We're all different yet we all feel pain. Sorry, can't help you with the Asacol.

we've discussed sharing prescription drugs before that we're not going to use, with the desired drug being lotronex. it is illegal to dispense prescription drugs without a prescription. you're only suposed to take rx drugs prescribed for you, and not give them to others or take those meant for others. that's not to say we don't all do it sometimes, like other members of my family take claritin, and so do it, and if one of us is short or something we take the others'...but it's the exact same med, which we are taking under the direction of a dr already. you're treading in dangerous waters getting meds from someone over the internet, both legally and, as someone else said, i'm sure we're all good people, but you don't know what might have happened to that medicine. even something like sitting in a hot car for a while causing a chemical change, not to mention intentional tampering.sorry to come across as a wet blanket, but i struggled with this issue myself as someone who very much wants lotronex but has been out since soon after the recall, and it kills me that there is some just sitting around out there!what is this drug that you want, and why are you trying to get it on here rather than through your dr?

I guess the problem I have with sending someone ANY drugs is sending to someone I that I don't know. How do I know that this person wasn't told by their doctor to not take this medication for a specific reason? What if something happened to the person I sent this to? In a world where someone can be sued for giving another person a pill for a headache, I don't feel like being held responsible. Yeah, sure, we are all supposed to help one another out, but as I found out in a very hard way not so long ago; this is a computer and who knows who is on the other end. Nothing against Karl personally, but in general.Getting a prescription under your name for the purpose of giving to another person IS illegal. ·I was sent a canadian company who will send out almost any drug including this ASACOL 100 pills for 49.00 and you dont even need a script so is that mail fraud People its not a drug that could be abused or smoked some of you people need to wake up one day you might be in a bad way and someone will say well Ide like to help but I cant yea right well there are all kinds of people out there some good some bad I guess a few of you people have the same proble as I but Just have more money than I well I wish you all well to no hard fellings Karl

Slam Clinton sign a bill that made getting a prescription drug over the internet without a prescription against the law. People from the U.S. can cross over to Canada to get their drugs, if they could get it by mail without breaking the law they would. I think asking someone to break the law is a little much. I have got a lot of help from this board, and I have disagreed with some on this board. I don't let it get personal, I just disagree sometimes. I would never ask my best friend to break the law, let alone someone on a BB.Tim

I believe it is illegal to give anyone any pill, ointment, etc. that was prescribed for you. It doesn't matter at all whether there is an abuse potential, doesn't matter if $$ changed hands. The prescribed drug can only legally be taken by the person whose name is on the prescription. You are not legally allowed to give them to someone else. I have bipolar disorder and have been on a million different kinds of medications. When one dosen't work and I have to change I always give the leftovers back to the DOCTOR so that she may dispense them to someone who can't afford them. Also, I always ask my doctor for samples. Karl, if the problem is the cost of the drug, maybe your doc can help you with samples or may have another patient that couldn't use that particular med.
