I have been taking the colestid for my bile D and doing great on it but for the last few days I have been having alot of cramps and some pain in my stomach. I usually have one formed bowel movement a day and I feel fine but since the cramps has started I have the feeling like I have to use the bathroom all day long but when I go to the bathroom I dont use it. I think it might be gas build up in my stomach, could anybody tell me if its ok to take a Antacid while taking the colestid? If so whats the best kind to take for this? When I get like this I cant even pass gas, thats why Im thinking it must be alot of gas on my stomach. Does anyone else experience this? It just started and I hate it!!!!
