I have been on questran for a few weeks now and it is really starting to help. I was at the drs office and requested the pill form instead. In the powder form there are four grams of whatever it is that questran has and in the pill form my dr. prescribed 1 gram twice a day. I called my pharmacy and I am trying to find out if the dosage is equal to the questran. I can't seem to get a handle on it. Can anyone help? ThanksHappy Mothers day to all mom's out there.Carole

Really can't answer your question. But, why don't you call your pharmacy and ask--they should be able to explain. I do know that people on the board seem to take from 2 to 4 pills a day. I only need 2. Some have started with 4 and worked their way down to 2. If you find you need more than 2 your doctor would surely listen to reason about uping the dosage.
