Hi, I just called and got the results from my colonoscopy last week. The nurse said the polyps were hyperplastic ( non cancerous ), which is quite a relief, and the biopsies showed chronic inflamation/colitis. I'm assuming the colitis is microscopic since my colon looked otherwise fine. Am I right to assume this? I'm not sure what to expect now. Will he run blood tests? Will he treat this with medication? Will it ever go away? Does this mean I have an Inflamatory Bowel Disease? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.Amber
