I have recently had a colonoscopy and whilst looking at the monitor as this was being done, I noticed that the blood vessels in my colon were quite pronounced - does anybody know why that is? or is that normal?Mosey

I am going to have a colonoscopy on Aug 13th, 12 days before school starts. I think that the blood vessels are pronounced because of the blood flow, and it is a very vascular area.Was it painful ? I know that the prep is bad with all the laxatives... Did everything come out okay....hope nothing serious.
