I sent a really long email but didn't get much help.I am going to simplify my question.Does your stool change all the time..Like today it was very thick shiny dark mudlike stuff. Yesterday I had gas but it sent little specks that stick to the toilet. Other times I have very small skinny stools.Colors range from yellow to orange to dark browns and occasionally tarry black.Been to lots of Doctors...nothings helped. I am wondering if anyone else has these rotating symptoms.Alice

Hello Alice...Oh yes my stools come in all different shapes,sizes and colours!!and in all types of sizes to!small,thin,long,mushy,watery and the list goes on.For me every day not the same.I have had severe IBS for many years and have found nothing to help me,but i try to never give up hoping.
