Hello,I was diagnosed with IBS 2 years ago, it come and goes as the pleases. I was wondering what kind of vitamins and supplement an IBSer should take, because it appears to me that I already take a lot. My family doctor makes me take B12 because I don't eat meat so I lack of B12. I started to take probiotics as some of you suggested, omega3 for depression and anxiety and beano for digestion. Is that considered a good cocktail?

Hi Yukie, what you've mentioned seem to be OK. I don't see anything conflicting other things.I;m also a vegetarian, apart from the suplements i also eat shitake mushroom pretty often -- it is said that it has vitamin b12.The key rule of thumb is, except trigger food, we should eat as much variety as we can (given that we're vegetarians). The more variety, the better the nutrition.
