I have been taking Zelnorm for about two weeks. My IBS symptoms included stomach discomfort (acid gurgling, general gnawing), bloating, constipation, and lack of appetite. Before Zelnorm I tried a strong acid production inhibitor, but with no help to my stomach. I still have constipation but much less stomach irritation. However, after I have a bowel movement, my stomach starts going at it again. It's as if when my digestive system is full, my stomach gives me few problems. After emptying, it starts acting up again. I am very puzzled and wondered if others had similar experiences, hypotheses, explanations, or suggestions for relief?THANKS!

Your symptoms sound exactly like mine. I have been on zelnorm for about 3 wks. The only thing I notice so far is gas explusion. I still have pain, bloating. I haven't noticed what you said happens to you
