dizzy, unfortunately your son will have to go through some diagnostic testing to rule out other possible gi problems. The first one you might start with that is simple is a lactose Intolerence test. Then blood work and stool cultures for a start.I am personally not fimilar with Calpul, what is that?------------------Moderator of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Anxiety and Hypnotherapy forum.I work with Mike building his websites. www.ibsaudioprogram and www.healthyaudio.com I also work with Mike in IBS clinical trials using Mikes tapes at an IBS research facility. My own website on IBS is www.ibshealth.com Please visit for accurate information on IBS.

Is this the ER that keeps sending you away? I got the same results out of the ER, sometimes they just want to give you pain meds till you can get to see your regular doctor, unless it's a medical emergency they won't do major testing.Take him to the doctor and DEMAND some tests. I agree that blood tests, stool samples, and maybe an ultrasound would be a good idea. He's young, so I doubt he'll need more then that right now. Good luck to you!
