I wish I could share some sort of cure with you. I can't. But I can say that I feel your pain and I have often said that this is the thing about IBS that I really hate. I can deal with diarrhea but the pain is insane. I cannot stand it when I get no relief and the pain does last all day. I have tried anti-spasmotics but they haven't done much for me. You might want to try something like that. I am sure you can get some suggestions of good ones to try here. Also, some people say that heat helps. A heating pad, warm wash cloth, or there are new bandage type things that create heat that may work too.Good Luck,Carly
