I have found that IBS affects me the most when I am experiencing anxiety. Driving a distance can sometimes be verry stressful when always worried about the nearest rest stop. Here is what works for me...1. I always driveI find that when I am in control of the wheel, I can make the decision of when and where to pull over. That makes me less anxious and in turn I feel much better.2. Buy a minivanThe Idea of knowing that if all else fails, you have a primitive restroom in the back! (if the windows are tinted and you are alone)3. I cary a small tiolet opening sized box and a few grocery bags and some TP(if all else fails, I can use the bags and the box as a makeshift restroom in the back of the minivan)primitive, but it works for me!Anyone else use any of these!Any better ideas?
