Hello! You are new here since I went on vacation, and I was reading up on the "Enough on Flux" post, and rather than add to that loooooong one, I thought I'd note to you here.I, too, just in the last couple of months, have found great relief in a low carb diet. I found out by trial and error that I cannot eat potatoes, breads, pastas, rice, etc. I looked at Atkins, and a couple of other diets, but they seemed kind of drastic to me. So I am going by what I need. I feel great - much better. My gas is almost eliminated, and the D much better. I am glad you seemed to have narrowed that down for you, also.Just thought I'd mention it. Another BB member, Bill, put me on this track, and the "Enough On Flux" thread kind of got off track and may scare some others off who may want to look at this for possible relief.

Hi Lefty!Glad to meet you! And I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your vacation. That's always a scary thing for me. My husband and I usually go by motorcycle, which is a lot of fun, but you can't take the potty with you!!I'm glad to know there's someone else out there who's discovered the carbohydrate connection. I really believe there are so many others out there who could be helped by a low carb diet, but there seems to be a great deal of opposition to even sharing that information on this board. I find that rather puzzling, since I would think that anything that helps any IBS sufferers at all would be welcome news here. Thank you so much for responding. I hope to hear more from you soon.Debbie
