Please tell me what you do if you're in the dentist chair & you feel the old sick pain in your gut? I know if it starts I would be on the toilet an hour. I worry myself sick before every appointment sometimes to the point of cancelling it. Of course their bathroom is in the front near the office.

I'm sorry for being so silly but between that and my vertigo it's a nightmare for me. Thanks for any help!

Just a thought , losartan side effects include diarrhea and dizziness. Could your GP not change to another type of pill? I am not a doctor but over many years found most of my health problems resulted from taking meds blindly and relying on doctors (not criticising them) now am dependent on some nasty meds. Good luck.

I feel for you. Have dentist in a week and don’t know if I”ll make it. Used to rely on 2 Imodium but they don’t work so well. Plan on taking 2 the night before, no dinner and one in morning, no breakfast. Disposable diaper, lost heap of weight so can still fit into jeans. Long cardigan, 2 Valium and a heap of praying. Unbelievable innit 🦷 only a check up. This is no way to live, need haircut, eye check, cancelled so many appointments. I really feel for you. At least I’m now nearly 80 so hopefully won’t have too many years left. Seen every specialist and of course I have prolapses too and chronic constipation mixed with the diarrhea. Guess I musta been a bad bad child.
Maybe try the 7-11 breathing, google it. I do 3-5 or I get out of breath. best of luck.

I am so sorry for all you are going through. I too have the same problem. I have been this way all my life and I am now 69. Sometimes I am "OK" for appointments and other times I AM NOT. The worrying about where the bathroom is makes it even worse. I have seen many doctors myself but no one helps. I cannot travel at all because of the fact I never know when an attack will hit. Cannot be on a stretch of highway for miles with no bathrooms. I try very hard not to think of things like that but my mind never shuts down. I do pray a lot about it too. I have come to the realization that there is nothing else that will help. I hope you find something that will help you. God bless!
