Try doing a search under Dicetel - there should be lots of information. For me, I used Dicetel but found that a herbal supplement (entric-coated peppermint oil tablets) helped a lot more.

Dicetel was a life-saver for me. I still take one a day, even though I could probably quit and be just fine until the next "attack". I wish it were available in the U.S., as it could help at least some of the people who no longer have Lotronex as an option. Give the Dicetel a good chance, at least a few weeks.

I, too, took dicetel for over a year and it helped alleviate some of my symptoms. I found a slight decrease in the pain and frequency of D. Which I had very very bad.I took Dicetel, vitamin B complex, acidolphilus, calcium with viatmin d, and also papaya digestive enzymes (for bad heartburn as needed).I don't know if it was the combination that worked or what but I have been symptom free for 1 1/2 months and counting. My doctor had prescribed Dicetel for 10 days worth at first. Said if I didn't see any improvement at all then I wouldn't need to continue as they are quite pricey. I saw slight improvement so I continued for one more month. Again, saw slight improvement, so I continued.Hope you find some relief with these pills as well.Lisa
