I know it sounds weird........but when I eat a big meal I tend to get light headed right afterward. This has always happened to me, not often but before my IBS started, as well as after. Am I weird or does anyone else have this expierience?

Do you ometimes have an ibs flareup when you eat big meals. Maybe its your nerves. I had to go on anxiety meds cause I would have panic attacks cause I was scared I would get sick. Just a thought

Billie, its possible and am not saying this is the case, but possible when you eat a big meal, a lot of blood flows to digestion to make it happen and as the blood flows to the digestive system, it may exit the brain and cause some light headedness or kind of dizzy feeling. It take a lot of the bodies resources for digestion to happen.Just a thought on it.
