Marc, have you been diagnosed with IBS.Info on Prozac"Simultaneous effects of drugs on both systems also account for the gastrointestinal "side effects" of Prozac and other drugs that act on serotonin metabolism - which actually may have more effect on the bowel than on the brain, because serotonin predominates in the bowel and the drug moves through the digestive system before reaching the brain."http://www.vaccinationnews.com/DailyNews/F...02/GutBrain.htmSitting for long periods of time, might make the bowel more sluggish perhaps then standing or moving around.

Sitting down seems to crush my insides. Jiggling the insides is definately a good thing, so more the merryier. I often get high blood prsesure sitting down and have tried turning myself upside down in the past. This will put your internal organs in different positions and may help some things.

Oh yes, with you on that one - my big probbo seems to be with the school run - in order words, sitting in the driving position, and driving to work for the 2/3 days that I do that. Always feels dead crampy, and I'm not at my best bowel-wise first thing in the morning. You are not alone.Sue, Manchester
