This is a very old article that someone may have posted on this BB years ago (but that I just came across). It involves a Dr. Paul Lebovitz, probably one of leading authorities on IBS where I live in Western PA. Dr. Lebovitz has, among other things, given presentations at major conferences like IFFGD and written letters to the FDA in support of Lotronex. A great man (wish he was my GI!). Anyway, the article is pretty amusing, if anyone feels like reading it. Scroll down to the entry from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. http://www.homeopathic.org/news0299.htm

Hey skinny,I just blindly stumbled across this article through a series of Google searches to find doctors in my area who might not be averse to prescribing new treatments. I am looking forward to trying cilansetron in a few months when it (hopefully) comes out, and I'm pretty sure my current GI will refuse. Lo and behold I found this. I also found it particularly interesting that the man would not even reveal what country he was from, much less his name.I did check the robodump. What will they think of next? I missed it the first time around being only an occasional visitor to the MP. But now it looks like this thread has been moved to the general forum. I thought my post might have been a tad off-topic, but heck I'm perfectly happy to the defer to the decision of the moderators.
