I have back pain - across the small of my back. I associate it with IBS because it occurs mostly on the days I have a "bad stomach day" like this morning. I think that my muscles get weak from sitting on the porcelain throne, either that or all the spasming. Who knows. It may not be associated at all but it seems like it is to me.As an aside, I ate two altoids and am already feeling much better. Go figure.
I seem to have back pain most of the time sometimes i just cant get comfy, i sympathize with you i know how you feel.much love Emmie xx
Yea back pain is part of the IBS. You some times can feel the spasm from your bowels in the small of your back. Sorry you are felling that it must be a bad day for you.Best wishes,Lindalu

I know exactly what you mean, somedays it never stops.and donatal makes it roll even more, for me. But There are med's that will take the cramps and spasams away. Are you IBS D?I

I get back pain when I'm having particularly bad days. My docotr says that this is normal. I get the exact same pain at the beginning of my period too. Is this normal?
Lindalu, donatal made my rumblings worse also. What med have you tried that helped?Kelly
