Anytime i have done any restricted diet/foods,i have done it under the supervision of a professional,ieietician/Nutritionist,so that i know i am doing it in the proper way and i do not lose to much weight.I think it can be quite difficult to do it on your own.
I always watch what I eat and it definitely makes a difference. My IBS makes me extremely sensitive.Everyone seems to be different, but at least for me:From the trigger foods I can actually eat: olive oil is great and eggs with the yolks are fine. Can't eat any meat at all. From the insoluble fiber: nuts, especially walnuts and almonds, are fine. Also berries, cherries, pears and melons never bothered me.From the soluble fiber: Rice constipates! Pasta is heavy and causes immediate pain! Anything with corn is heavy. White bread constipates! The rest seems okay, especially oatmeal, quinoa and avocado.White fish: amnon or sol is good.Following a combination diet as well helps!GOOD LUCK!
