I just stared domperodome several days and now my constipation is worse. The GI thought this medication would help my abdominal pain but it has made my constipation worse. I am worried about just stopping> I am taking bentylol at night to stop the pain. anyone else taken this medication and if so any problems?

I would call the Dr and tell them what you have told us here. Seek their guidance as far as what to do next. Perhaps a medicine change or a dosage change is in order??

I'm on domperidone, generic brand Motilium.I also suffer from IBS-C.It hasn't had any effect on the C, positive or negative, but it has helped my nausea and pain ALOT!I suggest giving it a chance. It has to build up in your system to take effect. My doctor told me to give it a month,and I'm glad I did!
