Has anyone had trouble with Donnatal or Levbid hurting your stomach? Tried both of those over this pastweek and after two days on the donnatal everytime I would take one I would have these terrible cramps. So switched to the Levbid. After two days ..same thing. Called doc he said take just one a day..well that won't contro lthe D for 24 hours. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Hi Judy,I started taking Donnatal last month, I only took it for 6 days. The only effect I had from taking them was a lot of gas, about an hour after I took one. So I just quit taking them. However, I am a c and my doctor prescribed them for spasms. kaj

I took donnatal as a kid for a duedonal (sp) ulcer. I hated it because it made my stomache very bloated. I was skinny & had this big old protruding belly. I didn't really think they helped me, but I really didn't believe I had the ulcer. I always felt that donnatal was a placebo for me (with no effect).
