(sorry for that detail!)thank for the advice, think thats what im going to do. ive found toast to be all i eat somedays, easy on the stomach! but sometimes just eating two bits of toast in a day obviously still makes me hungry, but im too worried to eat! do you eat any other foods when you are feeling bad? hope you are having a good day

Hi lynseyif its any consellation, ive got my driving theory test on friday! ive got really bad ibs at the moment as well + my period due any day... you should try a herbal remedy called 'rescue remedy' you can buy it in holland and barratts - put a few drops on your toungue and it really calms the nerves. I wont be taking my practical driving test until december, but best of luck to you, im sure you will do well and pass
p.s. I find brown rice is good to eat when I get diarroea.

Good luck lynsey, sure you do brilliantly! Jus keep thinking that your driving test isnt very long and it will be over soon! This sounds sad but i remember whe i was little and we were in the car for a long time my parents would judge how much of the journey was left in comparison to the program playbus (playdays whatever it was called!, it was 20 mins long). Hee hee. So your test will only be 2-3 playbus' worth, not long at all. Hee hee.
, Surfergirl is the rescue remedy the bach flower one? I usually eat a baked potato the night before something important cos they are easy on my tummy, or crackers like water biscuits! Ele x

Good luck for tomorrow! When I took my driving test - more years ago than I care to remember, I was a bag of nerves. Took it on a busy Friday afternoon in the middle of winter. Because I'm only 5' 2" the seat had blocks put underneath so I could reach the pedals. Doing the hill start with snow coming through the window I had open, there was a sudden crash - the seat came off the blocks!! The examiner looked at me in disgust, I had to continue driving with my little legs trying to reach the pedals. I was past caring after this but somehow I passed the test. Try and keep calm and just think of it as a normal lesson

Lynsey, best of luck tomorrow, I know you'll do great!
Just try your best to stay calm (easy to say, I know), take your immodium, and it will be over with before you know it.I'm sure the examiner will have seen all kinds of reaction to the stress of the test before, so won't even notice if you have a hot flush!Keeping my fingers crossed for you that you feel o.k. tomorrow, and let us know how it goes!Take care! Hey Linsey,Good luck with the test!I can confirm surfergirls advise.I took Rescue Remedy before my driving test, instructor recommended it, it really helped with the nerves. The thought of the freedom of being able to drive myself also helped. Just think of all the fun you'll have in your own car!!Again, good luck!Lisa

Just keep remembering, YOU are ultimately in charge. The instructor will tell you where to go, but if you have to use the bathroom, you're driving and can pull in wherever you like
. That's the kind of thing that helps me, as I have lots of anxiety about having attacks in public. Though, in real life, I VERY rarely do. I rarely even have them at home. Just have a VERY anxious tummy.....Good luck! Give us an update tomorrow!
