I usually have IBS-D symptoms so I generally don't mind being mildly constipated, but the past week or so its been worse than usual, associated with a lot of pain/fullness and discomfort. I've decided to use this weekend to "clean out" so to speak and I'm considering whether or not to take Dulcolax overnight relief tablets.I'm wondering what other's experience has been taking this medication, and whether it works or not and how long it takes to work.

Me too... I'll never take dulcolax again! I can recommend Senokot though (hate to as I work for Reckitt-Benckiser who make the stuff!) as it was a bit more gentle. I still had the cramps but there was no nausea or excruiating pain.Milk of magnesia also helps if the C isn't too bad.
