Hi,A contact at Solvay pharmeceuticals in Germany mentioned to me that the EMEA would be reviewing the drug Cilansetron for the public market. I've contacted the EMEA for further information regarding the progress and current status of the drug. I shall inform all of you if there's any headway made.Cheers,DJM.

Interesting. My understanding was that the UK application IS the European application (by the mutual recognition procedure in which the EMEA is not involved.)http://www.ukmi.nhs.uk/Med_info/licensing_process.pdfI did read somewhere that certain types of applications must go through the EMEA, but I don't recall which types of drugs those were. Anyhow, please keep us posted.
