Bh,we are all diffferent so food going through us is gonna be different for each of us and can depend on what foods you eat, the amounts of food you eat(portions), what time of day you eat and actually how you are feeling that day as well as how certain foods interact(chemically as well as hot verses cold etc..) and how they effect us individually. For some fermenting sugars in the gut can cause fermentation and hence bloating and gas for example. Its hard for me to keep up with the tests done for everyone but that would be my first question. The tests are really important, blood, stool, thyroid(blood test), sig, colonoscopy etc. etc.Examining your eating patterns and what you eat is crucial, if it were wheat that bothers you for example, it could perhaps be celaic sprue.Things to consider and learning as much about yourself and ibs and other conditions is important and being aware of and monitoring your body's reactions to things is also important, many people keep a diary and that its a good idea in the begining for just this reason. There is alot to this and it boils down to us individually and being aware of your bodies reactions and what is causing what.------------------
