Lately every time I eat I experience excruciating abdominal pain. The pain is so bad I no longer eat during or before work so I can focus on my job. Sometimes I get the feeling I need to pass gas but cant. I get really nauseous after eating and have thrown up a few times. My constipation is still bad even though I am following my gi and I’m unable to have a bm, I don’t know if the pain is because I’m constipated or something else. I tried an enema a few days ago and only the water came out. Because of this I’m losing a lot of weight.

I just read some great news on the internet Sunstar. Apparently it is very unlikely that one would die from even eight week without going.

I think you are teasing me a little but I’m not worried about dying. I am just miserable in my discomfort and want to stop the pain. Do you think I’m in excruciating pain just because I’m constipated?

Yes Sunstar. I could be wrong but here is a quote from you. "I did another enema and had a large bm. The pain is much better after having a bm ..." Pain or not I do have this crazy theory that fecal matter is supposed to leave the body on a very regular basis, one way or another. Maybe it's just me? Anyone else agree with me on this?

I also get horrible abdominal pains. I started out as IBS D, in the 1970's, and now I go back and and forth with IBS C and D. What I have found that helps me with the "C" and the pain is taking Miralax, this has been the only thing to help me. I also get nauseated from time to time with IBS C. My doctor told me I can take Miralax daily if need be, it has helped me a lot.

Similar symptoms here. After a lot of trial and error I found that it was caused by multiple problems for me. A severely fatty liver was pushing and squishing organs, and may have been the cause of a hiatal hernia (gastro esophageal junction got pushed above the diaphragm). The hernia led to acidity and reflux, so doc gave antacids. Overuse of antacids led to sibo. Sibo led to more gas, but gas can't bloody escape because everything was squished together. Got tired of docs and started treating my fatty liver with diet changes and quercetin. Treated sibo with allicin and neem. Addressing those seems to be working, the hernia seems much less troublesome now, bloated belly is visibly shrinking, gas makes its way out.

Anyway, you may also want to get checked for fatty liver (apparently COVID accelerates fatty liver too), sibo and hiatal hernia. BTW, methane dominant SIBO does cause constipation. So do squished organs 😞
