I love this place - it is the only place you can ask bathroom questions and no one thinks you are totally obsessed with it! Here goes:I am usually IBS-D - sometimes though I get constipated. A day like today - was awful - not only was I constipated but felt like my tongue was swelling and these raised bumps appeared on the back of my tongue and then a white coating appeared - I finally had a BM tonight and my tongue calmed down.Do you think stuff kinda festers in there and causes a bacteria???I am going for a bacterial overgrowth test next week at UNC Chapel HIll - will keep all posted.If you don't think 'festering' is it -what do you think caused the swelled, bumpy, white coated stinky tongue????
