Fascia is just connective tissue. It is present in the abdominal wall, but the only time I know where it could cause pain in a big way is a condition of the foot called plantar fasciitis, http://www.plantar-fasciitis.org/. There is another condition of the fascia affecting the fingers called Dupuytren's contracture, but I don't think it causes pain. The only other thing I can think of is if it was somehow tied to an adhesion or to some infection post-surgery?
Thanks Flux,I must just try to figure out a way to get this diagnosed, any idea???Someitmes its the least expected thing that can cause problems and one I believe one should never eliminate any possibilities.
