I wanted to start a thread for low FODMAP diet FAQ...I have a lot of experience supporting people with the low FODMAP diet, so if you have a low FODMAP diet question, ask it here, and we can have a conversation together to support each other.

I'll start with one of the most common questions I get about the Low FODMAP diet, which is why are all the lists different?

There are varying degrees of FODMAP content in each food, and depending on the serving size a source is considering, they may keep it on the list or remove it. Also, some sources may just be copying from other sources in a complex game of telephone. The Monash Univerisity app is the definitive source, but even there, there can be inconsistencies.

Dear Amanda,
I'm new to all this. I was referred by my gastroenterologist. I'm experiencing constipation, bloating, and very chronic fatigue. I am seeking a list to follow for a LOW FODMAP Diet. Hopefully, you are able to assist me. I am a writer so I sit for very long periods of the day 24/7. I have signed up for swimming aerobics and sometimes if time permits I walk short distances. I recently (18Ms) lost my husband to the CDC Death Protocol. I am also a Medical Freedom/Voter Integrity Activist here in Florida. Please guide me to a diet I so I can begin this process as soon as possible. Thank you, Meg

You have no idea how happy it was to read your message. The only question I have dear Amanda... is where can I find the diet... I'm confident once I start I will have more questions for you. Directing me to a low FODMAP diet would be the best start... most crippling to my health is the constipation and chronic fatigue. I shall keep an eye peeled for your reply. With gratitude, Meg

. I love a fresh leafy salad with a protein but what gets me in trouble is Fodmap stacking!

what is a good guideline for adding other vegetables to the salad? Like if I add red peppers green peppers at each portion size I can get terrible bloating for hours after.
