I would like to know if anyone has tried garlic supplements for IBS symptoms. I did some reading and allegedly garlic may help in killing bad bacteria and yeast overgrowth.I know some members of this board don't believe in the candidasis (yeast) syndrome and its effect on IBS. I try to remain open-mided and don't rely 100% on science. Thank You,Karl
Being open-minded to me relying on science 100%.Anyway, garlic does have anti-microbial effects, but they are probably more for prevention (of gastroenteritis) than treatment of a real (or pretend to be real) infection.
