Gastritis?

I was diagnosed with Gastritis in 2010 after being on high doses of Naproxen. I had to take Nexium for 3 months to heal it. After that I had issues with GERD. I was on Omeprazole for 5 years and it stopped working. Now I am back on Nexium. Could the gastritis be back? Does it actually heal from Nexium?
