Ok I'm pretty fed up with my current situation: primarily the Hemmrhoid from hell!!!! I discovered it ironically the day after going to doctor, in which I was prematurally diagnoses with Irritable Bowel syndrome. This was like the beginning of febuary.Anyway For the rest of the month, I tried conventional treatments, such as the suppositories, and cream, with no luck. So I went back in March, to talk to my doctor about it, and he just said "thats a big hemmorhoid", then changed the subject back to IBS, and set me up for a catscan. Well over the past 2 months, I've had a catscan, told I had diverticulosis, sent to a GI Doctor, who set me up for a colonoscopy, in which 6 weeks or so after I went to the doctor, I was officially told everything was fine, and I just had IBS, and the hemmie was not a problem, and I just needed to eat a high fiber diet. Don't know what happened to diverticulosis, but needless to say, those GI doctors SUCK!The hemmie IS a problem. a BIG problem. THe thing is like the size of a softball, and protrudes in and out when I go to the bathroom. Sometimes it gets stuck. I can't sit down for more than a half hour, without it hurting like hell. sometimes I have to push it out of the way to make a complete bowel movement. Over the past 2 weeks its gotten worse: I now pretty much have to take glycerin suppositories to make a BM, since the hemmie has swelled up so much. YAY Thank you docotors!SO I'm going back today, and my goal is to convince my doctor to set me up to get this thing removed. It is WAY to big to treat with conventional methods. And I personally think if the hemmie dissapears, and I continue a high fiber diet, I may feel a LOT better! Anyway, wish me luck, if he doesn't see it as a threat, then I'm going to call "the hemmorhoid center", some place I see off the interstate. I'll call and see if they accept M-Plan insurance.Anyway another delimma is I'd like to quit my crappy job and find another one, but I'm tied to it due to my medical coverage. I just hope I don't get transferred to any more doctors, or set up for more tests! I NEED to get this over with. There is no excuse why I am still suffering from it 4 months after I first went to the doctor!!!

well, no surgery, but the doctor looked at it, said it wasn't quite the size of a softball, and gave me this foam stuff, to put on it. Supposed to apply it 4 times a day for a week, and he said that should take care of it. If not, come back, he'll refer me to a hemmerhoid specialist.

Here's a question: how do you use this proctofoam stuff? IT says to shake the bottle vigerously and then fill it into the applicator...problem is, it doesn't seem to want to come out of the bottle! AHHH I need this medicine too bad for it not to work...not tomention it cost me $25!nevermind. "hold bottle upright to dispense" GUess I didn't see that before

now I could use some hemmorrhoid remmedies. The proctofoam is working, but I wanna make 100% sure this hemmie is gone and do all I can to help it out. So if anyone has any remedies could you please list them? Thanks in advance.
