I was recently referred to Withington Hospital in Manchester to see a doctor that specialises in IBS. It was amazing! He actually seemed to care, which was great as all the GPs I've seen didn't seem to. He also knew loads about IBS which the GPs had no idea about. He has suggested hypnotherapy, which is what I want to try, because I'm fed up of being on medication, especially the anti depressants, prozac isn't much fun. Anyone in the North West of England should see this doctor, he takes a full case history to make sure you actually have IBS and nothing else, he will definitley help. I love him! Let me know if you are in this area and I will get some info for you.

To be honest, i really think that hypno is the way to go. It won't harm you at all and no meds. But remember you CAN still take your meds whilst having hypno. It is the most relaxing thing ive ever done and Mike Mahoney is just great.www.ibsaudioprogram100.com
