I suffer mainly from alternating IBS between diarrhea and constipation. The FODMAP diet has been very helpful in keeping most things under control, despite random slip ups here and there.

I drank a pint of hard apple cider one night and since then I have been waking up with diarrhea, bloating, cramps, and foul smelling gas every morning. I have been making sure to keep a fairly bland diet with rice, oatmeal, Greek yogurt, bananas, plain fish, eggs, potatoes, etc... It has been 5 days and I am still experiencing these symptoms. I sometimes also have diarrhea and gas at night. Has anyone ever been in a situation like this? I am currently in another country (Europe) so I am trying to postpone going to the doctor until I get back home to the US.
