Has anyone had this test. I am in too much pain to wait for my colonoscopy and am wondering if a GP can do this test. Any thoughts or experiences? I am having the colonoscopy mainly for my bum pain but it is 5 weeks away and things are getting steadily worse.

Do you have D or C?I think pain is more associated with D in general.I will have barium enemasechography soon and it has been only a week to wait.The clinic where i go is a private office,maybe you should look for them,i know they are more quick.

I am D, although I have had great success with stabilizing my bowels (knock on wood) at least to the point that I don't get D very often. Anyway, now my butt really hurts and has for quite some time. I am not sure if we have private clinics out here. Where in Canada are you from?
