·I have been juicing fresh fruits and vegetables for the past month or two. I have found it to give me alot more energy and help with my various stomach problems. I have GERD, IBS c/d, gas, bloating, indigestion, chronic pain, and so on. It hasn't gotten rid of my problems, but they aren't as big as they once were. I just bought a cheap juicer at Meijer's for $20 and it works fine. I couldn't see the point in spending all the money on an expensive one. The trick is to buy a good book, with good recipes. I bought "The Complete Book of Juicing", its has 150 recipes. But the important thing is that it tells you how much to use, how to prepare it, how it pick it out at the store(ripeness and what not),what vitamins and minerals and how much, you can look things up by the problem you want to fix or by the fruit and/or vegetables you want to use. I can really tell the difference from the weeks that I juice every day and the ones that I don't. Some important points that I have noticed for myself are not to by too much at once(try to plan out what you are going to make, so you don't waste money), to get all of the fresh enzymes(that you body needs and hasn't probably had in a very long time) you need to drink it right after you are done making it. I found it tastes better too if you have a few ice cubes or a cold glass to pour it in. Well if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.
